How dose reeve make an effective character with Shrike?

Reeve makes an effective character because when ever he comes into the story the author gives him a dramatic entrances, also like the first time we provably met shrike in chapter 12 in air haven he had a dramatic entrance. iv read more of the book and i can tell you there is a lot more parts with shrike in and they are better then his first appearance and they are a lot more exiting.this was shown when it said…”two green lanterns pooped up at the end of the hall way.(Hester Shaw)the voice screeched like scraping metal.”this suggest that some think big might happen cause it sounds like a build up to something big.on the other hand it sound very creepy and sad, this creates a picture in my mind of an old person witch is injured or hurt calling a name of some one he knew or knows ,but not as it shows latter on in the story.

Reev makes an effective character by expressing and over exaggerating how shrike talks and sounds when he enters a chapter.in one of the chapter reed said that shrikes voice sounds like ‘scraping metal’ , but i think that he sounds like he is injured or in pain emotionally or physical.on the other hand it might create an image for more infuriation readers that he is some big scary guy tiring to look innocent giving him a chance to attack at any moment.this is demonstrated when they first meet shrike and he tells them what he was here for in chapter 12.this links the wider theam in the book of what technology might be used for in the future to come.

when he enters he effects the other characters by not just threading them but scaring them when he joins in chapter 12.I think other readers would think if they was in that situation they would be scared as the two green eyes were staring at me in the dark but behind the green eyes was a scary battered robot with 10 fingers with razor sharp claws connected to them.this links the wider theam of the book that if you think shrike is scary now what’s he going to be like when he has gained full strength and what are all of his bosses or followers like and what have they got planed for valentine and the crew.

This is Your Online Domain

Hello and welcome to your personal online journal.

Edutronic has been created to enhance and enrich your learning at the London Nautical School. Its purpose is to provide you with an audience for your work (or work-in-progress) and you have the choice (by altering the ‘visibility’ of your posts) of whether your work on here is visible to the world, or only to your teacher.

Anything you post here in the public domain represents you and thus it’s important that you take care with that decision, but don’t be afraid to publish your work – as the feedback you may get from people at home, your peers and people from around the internet is only likely to enhance it.

Remember you can always access your class blog and all manner of resources through the Edutronic main website – and by all means check out the sites of your peers to see what they’re getting up to as well.

If you have any questions for your teacher, an excellent way to get an answer is to create a new private post on this journal. Your teachers are am notified of any new posts and will reply swiftly to any queries.

Make the most of, and enjoy this new freedom in your English learning!
